So, I think I messed up and overfilled the transmission fluid in my Dodge Charger. Now I’m worried I might have caused some damage. I’ve heard that overfilling can cause the fluid to foam up, which messes with the lubrication and could even damage the transmission. How serious is this? Should I drain some out right away, and if so, what’s the best way to do it? Has anyone else made this mistake? What was the outcome – did it cause any long-term issues?
