I’ve got a 2014 Dodge Charger with a 5.7L HEMI, and I think my alternator is on its last legs. My buddy has an alternator from his 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T (also a 5.7L HEMI), and we’re wondering if it’ll fit in my Charger. Does anyone know if these alternators are interchangeable? I’ve been trying to find an interchange list for the Charger but haven’t had much luck. Would save me a good chunk of change if I could just swap it. Does anyone have experience with this, or should I just bite the bullet and get a new one?
