I’ve looked around where I thought it should be, but it’s got me stumped. I’m sure it’s hiding somewhere obvious, but before I start pulling apart more than I need to, can anyone point me in the right direction? I’d rather not end up taking off a bunch of parts just to find out it was in a simple spot all along. Any detailed directions or pictures would be a lifesaver!

I totally get the frustration—finding the PCV valve on the 5.7L HEMI can be a bit tricky if you’re not familiar with the layout. On your 2017 Dodge Charger, the PCV valve is actually located on the passenger side of the engine, near the rear of the valve cover. It’s pretty easy to miss because it’s tucked away behind some components.

To get to it, you’ll need to remove the engine cover if you haven’t already. Once that’s off, look toward the back of the valve cover, and you should see the PCV valve—it’s a small, cylindrical part connected to a hose. It’s not in plain sight, but it’s also not too hard to reach once you know where to look.

If you’re planning to replace it, it’s a straightforward job, just be gentle with the hose connections so you don’t accidentally crack anything. And yeah, it’s always a good idea to have a picture or two as a reference—if you can find one online, it’ll make things even easier.
