Title: Can Low Power Steering Fluid Cause My Dodge Charger to Stall?
Linear Mode
#1
I’ve been having a pretty concerning issue with my 2012 Dodge Charger with the 3.6L Pentastar V6. Lately, the car’s been stalling, but what’s really weird is that it seems to happen mostly when I’m making tight turns or parking. I’ve checked for the usual suspects—bad fuel, clogged air filter—but everything seems normal there. However, I did notice that the power steering fluid is a bit low. I’ve heard that low power steering fluid can cause some steering issues, but I didn’t expect it to lead to stalling, especially since the engine usually runs fine otherwise.

When the car stalls, it feels like the engine just cuts out, and I lose all power, including the power steering, which makes handling the car even tougher in those tight spots. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Could the low power steering fluid really be causing the engine to stall, or is there another underlying issue I should be looking into? I’m trying to figure this out before it gets any worse, so any insights or advice would be really appreciated!
