Title: What are the speaker sizes in a 2019 Dodge Charger?
Threaded Mode
#1
I’m planning to upgrade the sound system in my 2019 Dodge Charger, but before I start ordering parts, I want to make sure I get the speaker sizes right. I’ve been doing some research, but the information out there is a bit all over the place. Can anyone confirm the exact sizes for both the front and rear speakers in a 2019 Charger? I’d really hate to order the wrong sizes and have to deal with the hassle of returns—not to mention the disappointment of not being able to install them right away!

I’m also on the lookout for speaker recommendations. I’m aiming for a setup that delivers a strong punch with clear highs and deep bass. I do a lot of driving, both in the city and on the highway, so I want something that sounds great at all volumes and cuts through road noise without being overbearing. If you’ve upgraded your Charger’s sound system, I’d love to hear what brands and models worked best for you, and if there were any installation challenges I should be aware of.

Any tips or personal experiences would be super helpful, especially since I’m hoping to get this done in one go without any hiccups.

Upgrading the sound system in your 2019 Dodge Charger sounds like an awesome project! Getting the speaker sizes right is crucial, so let’s clear that up first. For your Charger, the front door speakers are 6x9 inches, and the rear deck speakers are also 6x9 inches. The rear door speakers, if your model has them, are typically 3.5 inches. These sizes should fit without any issues, but always double-check the fitment with your specific trim just to be safe.

As for speaker recommendations, I’ve had great experiences with brands like JBL and Kicker. JBL’s GTO series, for instance, offers a solid punch with clear highs and deep bass, which seems to be what you’re after. They handle a wide range of volumes well, so whether you’re cruising on the highway or stuck in city traffic, they’ll deliver that crisp sound you’re looking for. Kicker also makes some fantastic 6x9 speakers, especially if you’re into bass-heavy music—they can really bring the thump without drowning out the highs.

When it comes to installation, the biggest challenge might be accessing the rear deck speakers, as it usually involves removing a good bit of trim. But with a little patience and the right tools, it’s definitely doable. I’d also recommend adding some sound-deadening material while you’ve got things opened up—it can really enhance the overall sound quality by cutting down on road noise.

Good luck with your upgrade! I’m sure your Charger is going to sound incredible once you’re done. And hey, if you run into any snags along the way, don’t hesitate to ask—this forum is here to help!
