Title: What are the signs of an alternator overcharging in a Dodge Charger?
Threaded Mode
#1
I’m having some electrical issues with my 2014 Dodge Charger, and I’m starting to think the alternator might be overcharging. My headlights are flickering, and my battery died unexpectedly even though it’s relatively new. I also noticed a faint burning smell coming from under the hood. Could these be signs of the alternator overcharging? If so, what should I do to fix it? I’ve read that overcharging can fry the electrical components, and I really don’t want that to happen. Has anyone else had this problem? What was your solution?
