I’m starting to think the piston rings in my 2017 Dodge Charger might be going bad. It’s burning through oil a lot faster than it should, and I’ve noticed a bit of blue smoke coming out of the exhaust. The engine also feels a bit weaker than usual. Does this sound like bad piston rings to anyone? What other symptoms should I be looking for? If the piston rings are shot, how serious is the repair, and how quickly should I get it looked at before it causes more damage?
