I’ve been seriously considering upgrading the intake manifold on my 2016 Dodge Charger R/T with the 5.7L HEMI engine to try and squeeze out a few extra horsepower. I’ve read that a performance intake manifold can improve airflow, leading to better throttle response and a noticeable HP gain, but I’m also wary of the potential for hype over actual results. I’ve seen some claims of 15-20 extra horsepower, but I’m wondering if those numbers are realistic or if they’re just marketing fluff. Has anyone here actually done this upgrade? If so, did you notice a real difference in performance, especially in terms of acceleration and overall power? Or would my money be better spent on other mods, like a tuner or exhaust upgrade? I’m not looking to turn this into a race car, just trying to get the most out of my daily driver without going overboard on expenses. Any insights or experiences would be really helpful!
