Winter’s right around the corner, and my Dodge Charger is definitely going to need some new shoes to handle the snow and ice. I’m driving a 2018 Charger R/T with the 5.7L HEMI, and I live up north where the winters can get pretty harsh. We’re talking snowstorms, icy roads, and temps that drop below freezing for weeks. I’m looking for winter tires that can give me solid traction and performance without sacrificing too much on dry roads since it’s my daily driver.
I’ve heard a few good things about brands like Michelin, Bridgestone, and Pirelli, but I’m not sure which specific models would be best for a Charger. I definitely need something that handles well in deep snow and icy conditions, but I also want tires that won’t wear out too quickly since I’m on the road every day. Anyone up here in the colder regions have a good setup they’ve been running? How do they handle at higher speeds, and are they noisy on the highway? Any recommendations or personal experiences would be awesome – I’m looking to order them soon before the snow really starts coming down. Thanks in advance!
