Title: Here’s an expanded version with a deeper explanation of the problem: Dodge Charger Ch
Threaded Mode
#1
So, my 2015 Dodge Charger with the 5.7L HEMI V8 has been flashing a ‘Check Charging System’ warning on the dash, and to be honest, it’s got me a bit freaked out. I know this warning can be triggered by a range of issues, but I’m not sure if it’s just a simple battery problem, a failing alternator, or something worse like a wiring issue or a bad voltage regulator.

The car’s been starting up fine so far, but I’ve noticed the lights dimming slightly when idling, which makes me worry that the alternator might not be charging the battery properly. I’m trying to figure out the best way to diagnose this without just throwing parts at it. Has anyone else dealt with this before? What ended up being the issue for you, and how did you fix it? I’m hoping it’s not something that’s going to leave me stranded on the side of the road!
